Recipe Corner: Sweet Pancakes

I do not know how “German” this recipe is actually, but it brings back many childhood memories. This recipe makes about 4-6 pancakes.


  • 7 oz flour
  • 4 eggs
  • 13½ oz milk
  • 2 Tbsp sugar
  • 8 oz Quark or Greek yoghurt
  • ⅛ tsp Baking powder
  • ⅛ tsp salt or to taste
  • ½ c raisins


Whisk all ingredients together.

Pour mixture in a non-stick pan making 4-6 thin German pancakes on medium heat until golden brown.

Remove from pan and add 8 ounces (1 cup) of Quark or Greek yoghurt.

Add filling which contains 1 tablespoon of sugar and a handful of raisins. Mix thoroughly.
