The Hauptmann von Koepenick Nutcracker is created after legendary Wilhelm Voigt who robbed the bank of Coepenick in Berlin 1906, dressed as military officer. His story has been made into various movies and TV shows. 

This hand carved nutcracker is signed and dated by its creator Lothar Junghaenel.
